The Dark Knight Versus the Occupiers!
New Batman Parody Comedy Video Starring Steven Crowder Released by the National Center for Public Policy Research
Crowder Also Comments on Saturday Night Live's Latest Scandal
Washington, D.C. - The Dark Knight (aka National Center for Public Policy Research Media Fellow Steven Crowder) is taking on the newest plague on Gotham City: The Occupiers!
The Dark Knight has some striking news for the Occupiers: "If we taxed all the millionaires and billionaires in this country - like Bruce Wayne - at 100%, it still wouldn't be anywhere near what you'd need to pay off the national debt. Sounds to me like you need to occupy some RESEARCH!"
The video can be seen at http://www.nationalcenter.org/crowder42.html
What inspired Steven Crowder to produce this video? "I just happened to have a pro-grade Dark Knight costume on-hand for the weekend, so I figured I'd do something surrounding the recent Occupy events. Anything 'Dark Knight' is hot on YouTube right now, so the goal is to bait YouTubers in, and then hit them with some truthiness! The truth is that outside of the Conservative niche community, most people have never heard these startling statistics before. Also, I just like wearing spandex and latex."
Crowder also has some timely commentary about the latest scandal surrounding Saturday Night Live, in which, according to a Daily Caller report, the show cancelled material for political reasons.
Says Crowder, "The problem isn't that SNL is cowardly or unoriginal. They always have been. The problem isn't that they nearly always express exclusively one point of view. That's been the case for several decades. The problem here is that SNL is knowingly editing and manipulating information in a way that is deliberately designed to be political. It's what SNL and the folks at ComedyCentral always do, but because they do it in an entertaining way, they're given a free pass."
