Speakers Bureau: Dr. Day Gardner

Dr. Day GardnerDr. Day Gardner, a member of the national advisory council of the Project 21 black leadership network, is the president of the National Black Pro-Life Union.

In 1976, she became the first black woman to be named as a semi-finalist in the Miss America Pageant (as Miss Delaware). She currently serves as an associate director of National Pro-Life Center on Capitol Hill and an executive member of the National Clergy Council.

She is the former national director of Black Americans for Life (an arm of the National Right to Life Committee) and she previously worked with KUAM-TV in Guam and was an on-air personality and producer with African Broadcasting.
